Authentic Worship
We believe worship is more than 3 songs that sound really good; it is a genuine response to God’s love and presence in our lives. Rooted in spirit and truth, our worship is an expression of gratitude, surrender, and devotion, both during a service and in our daily living. We seek to honor God with heartfelt praise, biblical teaching, and a lifestyle that reflects His grace.
Bible Study
Through daily, intentional Bible study, we seek to grow in our understanding of God’s truth, deepen our relationship with Him, and apply His wisdom to our daily lives. We are committed to equipping believers with biblical knowledge that transforms hearts, strengthens faith, and empowers us to live out the Gospel. Whether individually or in community, we approach Scripture with prayer, humility, and a desire to be led by the Holy Spirit.
Discipleship
We are committed to cultivating a culture of discipleship, where every believer is encouraged to grow in their faith, to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, and to help others do the same. Through intentional relationships, biblical teaching, and Spirit-led transformation, we seek to equip and empower individuals to live out their faith daily and to make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.
Stewardship
As faithful stewards of God’s gifts, we commit to using our time, talents, and resources to serve His kingdom. We believe that everything we have is entrusted to us by God and we are called to manage it with wisdom, generosity, and integrity. Through responsible stewardship, we honor God, bless others, and further the mission of our church in our community and beyond.
Giving
Giving is an act of worship and a reflection of God’s generosity toward us. At Church of One Accord, we believe in cheerful, sacrificial giving – of our time, talents, and resources. We believe tithing is a practice of gratitude and trust in God’s provision. As followers of Christ, we joyfully give back a portion of what God has entrusted to us, recognizing that everything we have comes from Him. Through tithing, we support the mission of the Church, care for those in need, and advance the Kingdom of God. We give not out of obligation, but as an expression of faith, believing in God’s promise to bless and provide for His people.
Serving
Serving is at the heart of our faith. As a church, we are committed to following Christ’s example by loving others through selfless acts of kindness, generosity, and compassion. We believe that serving is not just something we do—it’s who we are. Whether within our church, our community, or beyond, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus, reflecting His love in all we do.
Fasting
We embrace fasting as a sacred discipline that deepens our relationship with God. Through fasting, we humble ourselves, seek God’s guidance, and grow in spiritual strength. It is a time of prayer, renewal, and dependence on the Holy Spirit, allowing us to draw closer to God and align our hearts with His will. As a community, we encourage fasting as a personal and collective act of faith, believing in its power to bring transformation and clarity in our walk with Christ.
Obedience
Obedience to God is a cornerstone of our faith, rooted in love, trust, and humility. As followers of Christ, we seek to align our lives with His Word, faithfully responding to His calling and commands. Through obedience, we grow in spiritual maturity, strengthen our relationship with God, and become a light to the world, demonstrating His truth through our actions.
Humility
As a church, we seek to follow the example of Christ, who demonstrated true humility through love, service, and sacrifice. We recognize that every good thing comes from God and we strive to walk in grace, putting others before ourselves. In humility, we listen, learn, and grow together, always pointing back to God’s wisdom and glory rather than our own. Through servant-hearted leadership and compassionate community, we commit to reflecting Christ’s love in all we do.
Godly Community& Relationships
We believe that we are called to love, support, and serve one another—growing together in Christ. We strive to be a welcoming family where everyone belongs, where burdens are shared, and where lives are transformed through authentic relationships and God’s grace. in every season of life, we pursue relationships that reflect Christ’s love, honor His design, and build one another up in truth and grace. Whether single, married, or raising a family, we are committed to living with integrity, purity, and selfless love, guided by Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Sanctification
We believe that sanctification is a vital aspect of the Christian journey, wherein believers are progressively transformed into the likeness of Christ. This transformation is initiated by the Holy Spirit, who convicts, cleanses, and empowers us to live lives that reflect God’s holiness.
